Waxing, a semi-permanent hair removal method involves the use of wax to remove hair from the root, leaving smooth, hair-less skin. Results typically last 2 or 4 weeks. Waxing is a great exfoliation process removing dead skin cells leaving the skin rejuvenated. It is suggested that the hair shafts are at least ¼ inch in length, that the area is not shaved prior to waxing, and the use of retinol is stopped at least 4 days prior to waxing.
