My name is Sabina Mailyan. For over twenty-four years, I’ve been working as an esthetician in Nashville’s premier spa and skincare institute representing some of the best European skincare lines, such as Ingrid Millet, Orlane, and Cellcosmet. Being born and raised in Baku, Azerbaijan, in close proximity to the Caspian Sea, health, wellness, and beauty were always a priority. People from all over the world were coming to Baku to get treatments and be pampered. Caviar was one of the main ingredients in not only nutrition but also in skincare routines, as Caspian Beluga delivered the best to the whole world.
Since childhood, I was exposed to the world’s finest skincare products and makeup. My father traveled the world and would always bring the latest and most luxurious lotions, creams, and perfumes to all of the ladies in the family. As a young girl, I would observe my mom, aunts, and cousins coming over and having a spa day and trying out all of the new trends in skincare. Aesthetics became my passion, and I decided to dedicate my life to making people look beautiful and feel good.
After graduating from the University of Moscow, majoring in English, Spanish, and Nursing, I moved to the United States and decided to pursue a career as a skincare specialist. Once I graduated from Jon Nave University of Cosmetology, I was hired as an esthetician at Tiba Spa. Here, my education and training all over the world began. I was lucky enough to meet Shu Rousseau, Ingrid Millet’s right hand, who took me under her wing and taught me various facial and body treatments techniques, including European facials, body gommages, lymphatic drainage, etc. In Paris, I attended the Ingrid Millet Institute and received training from Orlane and Cellcosmet specialists. I learned all of the newest treatments using different kinds of laser, such as SoftLight, LightSheer, and IPL.
My priority is to help people feel good about themselves and treat everybody as a star. I always strive to learn more and continue my education by visiting international exhibits to discover all of the developments in the skincare and cosmetic industry. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to take care of people and share my knowledge and skills with the world.
